Silvestre Merino is the General Manager of Mexico for Globetek Media responsible for Sales, Pre-sales, Business Development and Operations in Mexico.  Silvestre is a Telecommunications Engineer with more than 16 years of experience in sales for leading multinational companies in the broadband telecommunication sector. In addition to his strong technical sales and presentation skills, Silvestre has proven expertise in areas such as customer service, systems implementation and program/project management. Silvestre has current professional certifications from SeaChange (VOD and DPI Insertion) Motorola (Digital Headend/DAC and Interactive Network) and Verimatrix (VCAS, DVB, OTT).Prior to joining Globetek Media, Silvestre worked for more than six years at TVC Latin America in charge of pre-sales, technical support and professional services organizations for the IP business unit for all of Latin America. Silvestre has a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico. Silvestre is based in Mexico City, Mexico.
